Business Object Security

Welcome to the guide on managing Business Object Security in Crysp IQ. A Business Object is the data stored in Crysp IQ as a result of a Source to Target Mapping and a subsequent data load. This guide will walk you through the steps to ensure the security of your business objects. Follow the instructions below to grant access to specific roles and manage their permissions.

1. Click "Security"​

Start by expanding the Security menu option.

Click 'Security'

2. Click "Business Object Security"​

Now select the Business Object Security menu option.

Click 'Business Object Security'

3. Select a role​

Next, select a role which you'd like to assign permission to. We'll select the Healthcare users we have created previously.

4. Show Source Message Business Objects​

Select a source message from the dropdown list to show all associated business objects. Here, we'll select the HEALTHCARE Source Message that we've created previously.

5. Click "Grant"​

To grant access to a business object, click on the "grant" button.

Click 'Grant'

6. Grant access to other Business Objects​

Repeat the process to add role access to other Business Objects. Simply click on the "GRant" or "Revoke" buttons

7. Example of limited access to a Source Message​

In this example you can see that the "Healthcare users" role does not have access to all Business Objects for the Source Message.
